Who do you look to for comfort (i.e., hugs, the right words, etc.)?

Do you have any favorite comfort foods?

When you're feeling down, do you prefer to be alone or with others (who?)?

Do you ever listen to music when you're sad? What kind? Any particular songs and/or artists?

DF or my mom

Pizza, italian, and chocolate

It really depends on why I'm down.

Again this depends. If I'm missing those in Heaven, I listen to One Sweet Day.

Who do you look to for comfort (i.e., hugs, the right words, etc.)? Depends on the situation, but typically DH for hugs and a reality check and our pastor for emotional support.

Do you have any favorite comfort foods? Ice cream, peanut butter, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes with lots of butter.

When you're feeling down, do you prefer to be alone or with others (who?)? If I'm really down, then I need time alone. If I'm just kind of off, then I try to find DH or friends to hang out with and laugh or watch a funny movie together.

Do you ever listen to music when you're sad? What kind? Any particular songs and/or artists? I always have the radio on in the car, but never anywhere else. I've heard some spot on Christian songs in the car when I've really needed to hear them. Like after finding out I'd lost our second angel, the songs Praise You in this Storm and Rain Down on Me came on during the ride home. Just before I got to the house, a song that included my favorite scripture (in my siggy) played. That was the first time I'd heard that scripture and I have never been able to find the song since.

Who do you look to for comfort (i.e., hugs, the right words, etc.)? My friends who've also lost little ones (online) and my husband.

Do you have any favorite comfort foods? Chocolate, mac & cheese, pizza

When you're feeling down, do you prefer to be alone or with others (who?)? If I'm really down, then I prefer to be alone or with my husband only. I have a hard time being around people when I'm grieving.

Who do you look to for comfort (i.e., hugs, the right words, etc.)? Usually DH first. He is the only one I can ask for hugs or just to listen to me. My sister and mom are great but I never feel like I can say "hey I need to talk or I need a hug" I accept their support when they offer but I find it hard to ask for it. I think sometimes they don't know how sad I am because I don't tell them.

Do you have any favorite comfort foods? Uhh...yeah. The 20 pounds I put on in the past year prove it! Chocolate is the worst and DH and I can't go out to dinner anymore and not get either an appetizer (the greasier the better of course) or desert. I also get in the bad habit of stopping at fast food places for lunch when I am depressed.

When you're feeling down, do you prefer to be alone or with others (who?)? ALONE!!!! I just want to sit on my couch with my dogs and watch mindless TV all day and not think about reality.

Do you ever listen to music when you're sad? What kind? Any particular songs and/or artists? Not really unless I am in the car. I only listen to country so there are lots of songs that make me cry! It is therapeutic though. ;)

Who do you look to for comfort (i.e., hugs, the right words, etc.)? Usually DH.

Do you have any favorite comfort foods? Dark chocolate M&M's and popcorn.

When you're feeling down, do you prefer to be alone or with others (who?)? Alone.

Do you ever listen to music when you're sad? What kind? Any particular songs and/or artists? Not usually. If I do, I try to find songs that make me more sad because then I can let it all out at once.

Who do you look to for comfort (i.e., hugs, the right words, etc.)?
Typically my one sis. Dh if I don't need encouraging words..he is great at listening but doesn't usually know what to say at all.
Do you have any favorite comfort foods?
Italian food - although I am not a big comfort eater in general.
When you're feeling down, do you prefer to be alone or with others (who?)?
It depends on who the "others" are. If it is the right person I would rather be with them...otherwise I would prefer to be alone.
Do you ever listen to music when you're sad? What kind? Any particular songs and/or artists?
I do - but like Laura - mostly to make myself more sad. Often when I feel like I need to cry & yet "not feel alone" I go to the NILMDTS website. I think the song that plays is amazing & the pictures although they break my heart feel somewhat healing to me as well.

Who do you look to for comfort (i.e., hugs, the right words, etc)
Primarily my DH, but my sister and mom as well.

Do you have any favorite comfort foods?
Cheese and any kind of bread. And anything fried (yes, I'm a Southern girl )

When you're feeling down, do you prefer to be alone or with others (who?)?
Depends, sometimes I like to be completely alone so I can cry as hard as I need. Other times I need to be around friends to get everything off my mind.

Do you ever listen to music when you're sad? What kind? Any particular songs and/or artists?
Not really, unless I am in the car. When I am down, I try to avoid music that will make me feel worse.

Who do you look to for comfort (i.e., hugs, the right words, etc.)?
I will first look to my DH but then it's always my mother next. I spent the night in the hospital last week and couldn't wait until 5 am rolled around so I could call my mother.

Do you have any favorite comfort foods?
Triple fudge brownies hot out of the oven. Then just about every other food item you could think of. Those of you that know me know that I am a foodie.

When you're feeling down, do you prefer to be alone or with others (who?)?
Alone

Do you ever listen to music when you're sad? What kind? Any particular songs and/or artists?
I only listen to music in the car. Music is not my first thought when I get sad, I actually will go to my on demand service and find a comedian to watch.
