Currently going through 3rd miscarriage

Hi all,
I'm currently attempting a miscarriage on my own at home (I had d&c last time and I'm trying to avoid that).
I've been taking Misoprostol for over 36 hours and have had severe cramping,...

I went back to the Dr. today for a follow-up u/s after not finding a heartbeat last week, and my fears were confirmed. There was no heartbeat and baby wasn't...

Re: Cancelled appointment

It's definitely not acceptable to not call and let you know. I would let them know about my dissatisfaction. Hope everything goes smooth on the 6th!

Re: Really scared - UPDATE

So glad you got a heartbeat! Also remember, after 6-ish weeks, it takes about 3.5 days to double. Goodluck! When things become visible on an ultrasound, that is more reliable than the numbers.

Re: How soon to find out Gender with 3D U/S

The nub theory is pretty accurate and that's what a lot of places will use as secondary confirmation if it isn't super clear.

Re: Progesterone numbers

I take it orally. From what I understand, the suppositories have less side effects, so you shouldnt have any problems at all! Goodluck!

Re: Appointment moved up **Update in original post**

My HCG was 14,000 on Wednesday. I decided to hold off on the re-draw since it's takes about 3.5 days to double at this point. My Factor 5 came back normal and MHTFR isn't back yet.

Re: Leaving.......

I have heard of offices that do it that way but this was the only option we discussed. Since tests can be negative for several dpo, I'd think it would be best to start off early, just in case.

Re: Appointment moved up

I wouldn't be too worried except for my last two pregnancies ended in miscarriage. In November, I had a subchorionic hematoma which normally goes away on its own. We saw the heartbeat that day and...

Minimalist?

It looks like we have a good mix of first time moms and btdt moms.

I know, for me, things are a lot different this time. We simply don't have the room for tons of baby stuff, so I'll be sticking...

Re: Really scared

Fingers crossed for you! Try to remember that HCG numbers can be very misleading. Some people just have slow-rising HCG. Goodluck to you and try to take care of yourself.

Re: No energy !

I'm feeling the same way. I'm a caffeine drinker and I still don't have any energy! Hopefully when that 2nd trimester hits, we'll get some of it back.

Re: Leaving.......

Every month we were TTC, I would start taking the oral Progesterone at 2DPO. You then continue it until you get a +HPT or if you get negatives, you stop it between day 12-14 and your period will...

Re: How soon to find out Gender with 3D U/S

We have specialty sonogram places that do gender scans at 13 weeks and they do a 100% money back guarantee anytime after 14 weeks. Everyone around here uses them and I've never seen them get it...

It's...

Every time I feel normal, I get scared as well.
Remember though, a lot of times, subsequent pregnancies are easier.
My first pregnancy was absolutely awful, but the second wasn't as bad. Try not to...

Re: Cautiously Joining

Welcome to the group and congratulations!
Don't even get me started on JM on non-computer devices. I need to put a disclaimer in my siggy about the atrocious auto-corrects.
