Re: A couple things...

Breastfed babies can be really irregular with their poop. My babies usually poop 6 to 8 times a day. Last time, after doing that for weeks, my daughter didn't poop for days. I called her...

Re: Umbilical cord issue!

Dd's fell off at 1 week, but still oozes blood now and again at 3 weeks. We were told not to clean it because keeping it dry helps it fall off faster. With our other kids, I think it hung on foot...

Re: Mother's Rings

DH has always gotten me a "push present" with the kids birthstones after each baby. He just picked out a regular necklace or ring he liked, and had it customized to swap out whatever stones were in...

Re: What do you think?! (Possible BFP pic)

Think that line is great! And my lines on the ICs always took forever to get dark. I found the ICs to pick up a line the soonest (even before frers), but they took the longest to get dark. Good...

Re: How do you get passed the sadness?

For me, the only way to deal with the sadness was to keep trying. I was most sad when I felt like there was no hope, when we weren't moving forward. So I always jumped into a new cycle as soon as I...

Re: Overwhelming Pressure to be the Perfect Mom...rant/vent/long

Supermom doesn't exist. If your baby is fed and healthy, then you are doing a great job. A few nights ago, I cried for 3 hours straight in the middle of the night. It happens. I've been getting...

Re: 3-7am on a Sunday....

We are awake every night from 1am to 4am. And then she sleeps like the dead for 4 hours straight in the middle of the day, when I'm too busy to nap. Getting very tired here, too. I love my DVR......

Re: 2nd Membrane Strip - Worth It?

The sweep is more likely to work the closer your body is to being ready on its own, so I'd say go for it since your body will be more and more ready with each passing day. I wasn't feeling at all...

Re: Evil Apples

I've never heard that before. What is it that apples do that's bad? My baby is sometimes doer fussy with eating, and I've had apples... Not sure how I would know if that's contributing to the...

Good luck! The membrane sweep totally worked for me... I had been having BH contractions for weeks, but they became much more real only 2 hours after my sweep, and true labor started about 12 hours...

Re: breastfeeding issues...btdt mommies HELP

It's definitely not too late. My son was a preemie and we tried nursing in the hospital, but he was just too young. I pumped and bottle fed for 6 weeks while we continued to work on nursing. We...

I got faint bfps 6 weeks after my d&c, even right before af started. So it could be either. Keep trying and see if the line gets darker. Good luck!

Re: No pre-contractions and then boom! labor?

With both my kids I woke up at 3 am in full blown labor, no warnings, no light contractions. Both labors were fast, too. I've never had the kind of early labor that you could walk or sleep through....

Re: Long drive to hospital anyone?

I'm definitely worried. I live only 30-35 min from the hospital, but my last labor was super fast. DH works about 20-25 min from home. If I go into labor during the day, my plan is to have a...

Re: Do second babies come sooner

My first I went into preterm labor at 34w4d. My second I went into labor at 38w4d. I'm hoping not to go past 38-39 weeks this time. But yes, I went further with #2 than I did with #1, and both...

Re: hi! I'm new here

As far as the costs go, I can say that each IUI cycle we do costs between $2000-$3000 (including the meds). But we've done injectable meds, which are pricier, because we wanted to maximize the...
