Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

I don't think that one is showing in mainstream cinemas here, pretty much unless it's a blockbuster or an Australian film they don't end up in the big cinemas, we have an independent cinema locally,...

Re: Do any of you suffer from chronic pain or illness?

Same as you, OA. It's mostly in my hands and hips at the moment.

I kind of know what you mean, there have been times when my hips have been playing up when I've gotten looks if I'm with my...

Re: Do any of you suffer from chronic pain or illness?

I cracked up laughing at chronic pregnancy.

I have arthritis, I have painkillers for it but I only take them when I need to. It's only new (past 18 months or so) so it's not really bad just yet....

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

We have the Good Friday Appeal for our children's hospital here today. We volunteer every year as my 14yr old spent the first 4 weeks of her life in that hospital. We had a mini carnival in our area...

Re: Any lazy mothers with big families?

I'm pretty **** lazy.

Housework is divided. All my kids are at school/university. I go to work. Spotless doesn't exist in my house (and honestly I wouldn't want it to).

When they were younger...

Re: should be private but....

I'm guessing that as long as we don't have a host I can't be added to the private group, right?

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

FW, sounds to me like the little guy hasn't been taught proper social skills/how to act in public.

MIL, it must be the season for charity tattoos, my local place was doing them for the Good...

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

We got one in the cage, two more to go by the sounds of things. I don't really want them to die, because that would smell terrible, then I'd have to go and get dead possums out of the roof.

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

Good to hear your daughter is feeling better Amira.

I need to learn to butt out of things. SIL#2 has a 7 month old, poor dear is teething, bit crabby, very drooly, not sleeping well. It's pretty...

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

Amira, they're not taking the food from the traps, so were out of luck for the moment. They're trapped in our roof as we've patched up the hole, they have to get hungry sooner or later.

#5, I have...

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

What, we don't all have a collection of husbands? One for each day of the week. :p

The possums in the walls have gone to a whole new level of problems. We were eating dinner just before and we...

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

Congratulations Repti! Wow, pregnancy tests are tiny nowadays. M2M, I felt so bad for my 17yo when that happened. The girls thought it was hilarious and kept trying to make him squeak.

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

Speaking of 3 teenagers in one house, it's the first day of school holidays, here is a sample of text messages I have received while at work today

"Mum make Azriel put a shirt on"
"I am wearing a...

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

OOOOHHH, these things go right over my head.

I've gained a med school in-law, this works well. A plumber inlaw would be useful.

M2M, I wouldn't go back either, haha.

Re: Monday GTKY

I would say that most people go through cosmetic surgery for themselves, to feel comfortable in the body they are in, not for the aesthetic benefit of other people.

For me, having plastic...

Re: Monday GTKY

I've toyed with the idea. I'm a AA cup, I wouldn't want to go big, I don't think it would suit my frame, but a B would be nice.

The only thing stopping me from doing it at the moment is that...

Re: I am 2... I guess we start over

We have thousands of chinese buffets here too Repti. As long as there is mango green tea cake I'm happy.

I think if I ever have to bake a rainbow cake I will hand it over to my 19yr old. I don't...

Re: We are expecting #6

My MIL can tell some great mixed-race stories she's half Indian, half Icelandic, but you wouldn't pick the Iceland part by looking at her, especially when she's wearing a saree, which is often. FIL...

Re: High School

The only thing I was consistently involved in was musical theatre. I was in a few stage musicals.Bit past it now, but it has been strange to see my older two go down the same path.
