I totally recomend the Ergo! We got ours for Christmas when ourDD also turned 1... and was 19.5lbs. She is a feather in it. I have back problems, and get migrains when lifting heavy things or bending...

Do you have a set schedule? I have a basic rutine I try to follow with meals, snacks and nap... before with older kids I had a full rutine of circle time/outside etc as well..

I was also against them before DD's birth, but she was born a month early, and they used a sook to keep her settled while taking vitals etc in the NICU... then we started using it to help her sleep.....
