Re: Worried about my son

Oh and with me at least they were careful not to label him anything at this point. One of the specialists that evaluated him said just to me that he was showing some early signs of autism, but that...

Re: Worried about my son

I don't stop in here much, but I was killing time tonight and saw this. I understand not wanting to upset the ILs when you live with him, but he definitely needs evaluated, and should qualify for...

Re: bath twins 8 months old

Once they were able to sit up (a little unsteady, but sitting). I switched to bathing them both together using the aquababy bath seats. We LOVED them, but when I went to find a link to post you of...

Re: My Twins Are Here! *pic heavy* X-Posted July DDC

They are beautiful and you are doing great! As others have said, it is not easy. Mine weren't really latching at all until almost two weeks old, and even then we ended up using nipple shields with...

Re: nervous about labor

I would definitely take your bags to every appt. We never needed them that way, but I have heard of too many others that did.

I was on BP meds from 22 weeks on, but my BP was doing well on them...

Re: nervous about labor

Things can happen quickly both whether you go on your own or whether they induce you. For me I went to my regular appt at 36w3d. I had been having NO issues, no contractions, no anything at all ......

Re: Delivery question??

My OB was all onboard with a vaginal delivery as long as Baby A was head down (he was), but wanted me to have an epidural for a lot of the same reasons you mentioned. I was ok with that. I had a...

Re: Reaching out? *vent*

You sound like you are on the right track. It definitely gets harder as you go along. I was still working up until the end, but I sit down all day (an even then was starting to have trouble staying...

Re: Possible twins?!

I don't have any advice for you sine my first u/s wasn't until 8 weeks and we clearly saw both by then. I do know the older you get the more likely you are to have twins though (mine we at 35), so...

Re: Two heartbeats heard at Dr appt...twins or echo???

I don't know what to tell you. Like the other my OB found the twins at my first appt 8w and a couple days. He always does a dating u/s at the first appt, so I never had anyone use a doppler either....

Re: SCH with twin pg

I don't have any advice, but I wanted to say I am thinking about you and praying it goes away quickly. I don't know any moms of twins who had one (though I am sure plenty have), but I know a lot of...

Re: When to start buying supplies?

Yeah, I think there is definitely a balance. I don't think we really started getting anything until 20-25 weeks, but I can't remember for sure. We definitely started looking before that and had...

Re: What do you need two of?

Another option for sleeping if your space is limited is mini cribs. They are built just like regular cribs and are just as sturdy but the mattress is the size of a pack and play (20X40). We opted...

Re: Getting twins on the same routine

That is exactly what we did. When one woke up to feed I woke the other up and fed them together. 90% of the time it was my boy that woke up and I used to joke my little girl would never have gotten...
