Re: Nipple Shield

Im using one and I love it so much I bought a second one for backup. Nursing is actually painful without it so I plan on using them until my LO stops breastfeeding. Until I tried nursing with one I...

Re: Pumping and storing breastmilk

I dont have answers for all of your questions, but I can say the Playtex "ventaire" bottles work best for us. I use the Lansinoh milk storage bags (cheaper that the medela ones) and they hold 6oz...

Re: My electric Medela came/ more BF ????'s

Oh yeah one more thing.....The medela bottles that came with the pump gave my guy so much gas! We even tried the medela "calma" bottle/nipple with no luck. They're great for pumping into and storing...

Re: Burping your LO

My little guy doesn't burp much, but thats because we feed him breastmilk from those playtex "ventaire" bottles. Those things work great!! His Dr said the most important thing is to keep babies in a...

Re: Postpartum cramping

Thats normal. Every time you breastfeed/pump it stimulated your uterus to contract. I have it too. The first few days it felt like early labor contractions but now it just feels like period type...

Re: Pain relief for labor?

I had an epidural. I could feel the sensation of my baby coming down the birth canal and I could feel enough to push, but there was no pain. None at all. I asked the anesthesiologist about the risks...

Re: Breastfeeding & Pumping

Ive been pumping exclusively, not nursing (he bites!). I use the Medela pump in style double pump with that hands free bustier bra thing. I started pumping every 2 hours for 20 min, then when my milk...

Re: Moby Wrap

Thanks! I was just worried that my LO was too "bunchy" in there. I guess considering he was in the fetal position for all those months, he probably doesn't mind being "bunchy".

Re: Now that you all have babies, you can answer my questions :)

Kenso slowed down the last few weeks before I had him, but he was still moving around enough that I didn't feel the need to call the Dr. He was also really low to begin with and then he got even...
