I just got Miquon Math in the mail this week.. the first book and the cuisonaire rods.. as soon as I figure it out we will get started with it lol..

At the school... finally the Princ. called me this morning and was asking if there was any way I would consider keeping Nathan in school there. They would rush gifted testing, get him in advanced...

The library is a good idea.. I'll do that next time we are in town! We live in a very rural area, lol. It takes 40 minutes to get to the nearest walmart or anything... I havent been to the library...

Nathans pretty independent.. you give him materials and he pretty much teaches himself it seems..

Nathan took violin lessons at age 4.. then we moved here and no one would teach anyone that young... and the nearest teacher for his age is an hour away... he is asking to take Karate so I am...

We lived in Wichita Falls from 1998-2009.. my husband and I separated (not from infidelity or anything.. he is manic depressive and went off his meds :( ).. but hopefully we will be going back...

Nathan was in OT and PT from age 3-7.. we've just stopped for 6-8 months so they can re-evaluate him and see if he regresses any.
I'll look into those groups.. just from browsing they all seem to be...

I'm in a small rural area.. and out of over 200 friends on facebook, none of them homeschool or know anyone who does, lol. Ive downloaded the application from the state...
