They had a ball like that at our birthing class and they are available at the hospital for labor. But as mentioned, baby won't do anything unless s/he is ready.

Re: "Trial induction" starting tonight

I had never heard of that either. But i hope they let you go back home but it would seem odd to me that they would start your labor and then send you home for a bit

Re: family

I really don't see anything wrong with dictating what you want on the day she is born. Those first moments should belong to you and if your family cannot understand that, then they have an...

Re: Bras?

I would get something comfy....Target has some comfy nursing bras that are like $8-$10. Get two to get you through the birth and engorgment stage. See where you are after that and if you plan on...

I have a short sleeved onesie outfit that has pants. While hot outside, the AC makes things a bit chillier inside. Outside of the carseat, he will probably be swaddled and in that case, just a...

Re: Have you tried these?

I dont' think they would replace pumping at all. The passive expression of milk (letdown) isn't a lot and you wouldn't really get enough to make a real impact on your stash. you can always just...

Re: Needing to vent...

I will say that I agreed to my first c/s cause I was also scared of labor and child birth. I was dilated to a 7 for several hours and they were saying that I was failing to progress. I honestly...

Re: Detergent for baby clothes and item

It's true...your baby will be against your clothes...which are washed in your detergent, and they are fine. Which mean many babies are just fine with regular detergent. Out of guilt i buy one...

Re: Needing to vent...

I am not quite sure why you can't change your mind, how can it be too late? Why can't they induce instead? My friend with low levels of fluid was induced for both of her pregnancies, no c-section...

Re: To those who have HAD their babies already.... :-) <3

Both of my kiddos were born at 36 weeks on the nose. My daughter never went to the NICU.

My son went to NICU and then to the cardiac ICU (a day later) but both were due to his heart...

Re: Signs

With my first, I had menstrual types of cramping while I was at my desk. Being only 36 weeks I felt funny thinking that it might mean something even though they were 10 min apart on the nose. So I...

Re: Is anyone else not in any hurry to have baby?

Re: Detergent for baby clothes and item

Any detergent/fabric softener/dryer sheet will contain chemicals. Honestly, everything is a chemical, it's just if the manufacturer lists it under its chemical name or its common name. Vinegar is...
