Re: Refusing to eat? Losing weight?

Kris, I will try that. It actually seems like a good idea to make her gums feel better. Thanks! :)

Re: Milk is still a problem....

Yeah, that is weird. I see the point your pediatrician is making, but I think I would avoid milk for a little while longer. I agree with Kris, could you try goat's milk? We've tried it before and...

Re: Refusing to eat? Losing weight?

Thank you so much for your advice! I will definitely request a referral to a nutritionist if she hasn't shown any gain at the appointment next month. She did ok with food today, I think, although she...

Re: Refusing to eat? Losing weight?

So far so good this morning. She is napping right now. I tried offering her oatmeal, but she wouldn't have it, so I waited about an hour and fixed myself eggs and toast. Then I sat on the living room...

Re: crib vs toddler bed

I've been considering making the switch. Aurora hates her crib with a passion, so when I am home with her, I have a pallet of blankets on the floor in her bedroom and have her nap on that. I think if...

Re: Breakfast

Well, when she doesn't refuse like she has lately, she usually gets buttered whole grain toast and a pureed fruit or oatmeal with fruit. Once a week, she may get a pancake or some eggs.

Re: Refusing to eat? Losing weight?

I'm also hoping it is a phase. I feel like I'm just focusing in on her weight percentile (14%) and the doctor wanting to see us back in a month to check her weight. The doctor did not act alarmed,...

Heart Refusing to eat? Losing weight?

First, let me apologize for not being more involved here. It's been many months, so some of you might not recognize me. I'm about a month into nursing school, and it is kicking my BUTT. I haven't...

Re: Freedom of Religion BS in Tennessee

What I tried explaining in my response to you is that it was not my intent to stereotype any town or region. I didn't ignore what I said in my first post. I tried to clarify. Let me try again...that...

Re: Freedom of Religion BS in Tennessee

While I admit there is most definitely racism here in the South, in Tennessee, in M'boro, in my town, my point is that you can't really make an assumption on how "large" the racist population is here...

Re: Freedom of Religion BS in Tennessee

Nope. Disagree. Just felt that's where the OP was coming from. I felt the OP insinuated that M'boro was that type of town...I didn't say that there were whole towns of people like that in the state...

Re: Freedom of Religion BS in Tennessee

I live in a town next to Murfreesboro, and I just want to clarify a few things.

M'boro is not exactly "rural." It's approximately 25 miles down the road from Nashville, has the largest university...

Re: Hey hey! Need some help with sleep.

Sorry to resurrect this. We were away at the beach, and I did not have a chance to respond. Amy, I think Aurora is probably similar to Betsy in that she needs a tight schedule. I'm still struggling...

Leaking wetbag

I *think* I've got a leaking wetbag. I just washed and dried it today and put two wet diapers in there. A little bit later, I noticed a round wet spot at the bottom center of the bag. It didn't smell...

Thanks everyone! Her nighttime insert does feel soaked but that's how it usually is. We used the Rumparooz last night and no leaks. We've used pockets at night from about 2 months old to present day,...

Linea negra?

I still have my linea negra! It's been almost 6 months since I had Aurora. I guess they can take up to a year to completely fade away. Anyone else still have theirs?
