We do have strict bedtimes. Aiden and Lucas go to bed at 9:00. And Xander gets to go to bed at 9:30. But that last half hour is devoted to him reading silently. It helps him settle down a bit...

In history Xander started learning about the Viking invasion of Britain, Alfred the Great, and the Battle of Hastings. In science he's learning about the Arctic. In math he's working on fractions.

Seriously, the Leap Frog Letter Factory might work. It did wonders for Lucas who had trouble with his letters. And we also used Letter of the Week as well. All the advice these ladies have given...
