She will only deliver once I hit 37 weeks. I believe before that she will accompany me to the hospital and be a support or if I transfer she will go with me.

I have a CPM. That's basically the only ones around who do HBs. I have learned there is a CNM near by who now does HB since the OB office she worked for closed, but my CPM has almost 30 years...

I was surprised to learn mine would cover. It will pay between 50-85% depending on if my MW is in network or not. I don't know if she is, I assume not though. I'll be happy getting 50% back once...

insurance will cover!!

I'm soooo shocked! I called to see if my insurance would cover a home birth and they said yes! As long as the MW is certified. A CPM is certified, so I guess that counts! Depending on if the MW...

She said she would do a card test deal for the blood typing. DH is O+ so I still might need the shot. I needed it for DS1 but not DS2. It will cost me $150 I believe is what she said to have that...

Thanks! I have a history of PTL but no preterm delivery. I anticipate problems with PTL this time due to the nature of my job, but I do NOT anticipate a preterm birth, just so long as I am taken...
