Re: ia double swaddling bad?

Re: Gonna be on this site more!

I feel for you. We are actually moving close to my work this month. We are doing this so that I can go home on lunches/breaks if I need to. Lily never accepted the bottle. That is a huge concern for...

Re: 4 month sleep cycles--checking on bedtime routines

I would love, love, love to get my little one on a schedule. We have just been letting Lily sleep when she wants to sleep, and be awake when she wants to be awake. I will be returning to work at the...

Re: Any EBF mommies a "women" again

Nothing here yet. I did have an IUD put in a while ago, so I have on and off spotting from that. I too am curious when AF will be here again. My guess is when our little ones start solids?

Pre-Pregnancy Clothes

So, I finally decided to try on some of my pre-pregnancy pants/jeans. Yes, it has taken me over 3 months to try them on! Call me lazy, in denial, or totally in love with the stretchy bands on my...

Re: Swimming and summer plans

Wont be taking Lily out into the pool this summer. We live in Southern California, and it is too hot. I want to wait until she is older/bigger. Maybe next Spring.

How are you enjoying your wine, coffee, sushi etc?

Has everyone indulged in all those things that we were longing for when we were pregnant?

I felt a little guilty the first time I had wine after Lily's birth. I must admit, it does feel amazing to...

Re: Who is still pacifying?

Same here with Lily. Of course I found this out after I purchased a ton of different ones to find out which one she would like! She just sucks on her fingers and thumbs.

Re: baby food vs baby led weaning

I am not familiar with baby led weaning. (Maybe something I should look into!) I have heard that breast fed babies do not get a lot of iron. So we will probably first do iron fortified infant cereal...

I was so thrilled when I felt comfortable enough to cook again. We ate mostly junk for so long. Haha, I am so tired of frozen pizzas! Tonight I want to do a stir fry with tofu. More meals I plan to...

I am so in love with my baby, and I do want one more. Although because of time and money we are thinking we may have to wait until Lily is 3 or 4 before we have another one. I am getting the...

Re: Bath Time

Lily gets a bath every 2-3 days. She has a tiny bit of dry skin on her head. I am going to try some oil on her head before washing it to see if that helps.

Re: Bedtime routines

No real routine here. We go to bed around midnight, and she is usually pretty ready for sleep at that point. Naps during the day are a different story though. For most of her naps Lily has to be held...

Re: Feeding on demand

Thanks for all the responses. The pacifier works only some of the time, if she is really really tired then she just accepts the pacifier. I tried the pacifier again today a few times, and she just...
