Re: Anyone else walking like a little old lady!?

Not so much a little old lady but I told dh the other day I feel like I am walking like a cowboy. Lol Baby's head is as low as possible, so I think it has affected my walk a bit.

Re: Monday Moans

I am just very sore and tired today after 8 hours in the car yesterday. Also, my insurance is denying payment for my ultrasounds at $1300/each. The doctor insists they are medically necessary because...

Re: Who is avoiding going into Labor atm?

I would prefer not to go into labor until 37 weeks, which is Tuesday for me. My big goal was just to make it through today though since my baby shower was today and out of town. After Tuesday, we...

Re: Weekend doings???

I am busy, busy, busy today! My baby shower is tomorrow morning, which means waking up early and taking a 4 hour drive to get there. I am so excited! I better not go into labor before I get back....

Re: New Mommy Confessions

Houghtie, hav you considered a hands free nursing bra? This would make it so you could multitask a little easier. I found this helped me a lot. Also, I think the double pump is definitely worth it....

Re: What brand nursing bra did you buy?

I think I will just use regular bras. I bought maternity bras last time but didn't really like them.

Re: Weighty Wednesday

As of my 36 week appointment, I was up a total of 21 lbs. I'm a little surprised that my weight gain has been so low (for my body type). I did put on 10 pounds just before getting pregnant to help...

Re: how fast do you go back to 'normal'?

Well, it depends. For the things you mentioned, I went back to normal pretty much right away. However, you will have a whole new list of postpartum issues to deal with. I don't want to scare you bit...

Re: On the bright side...

Yay, I would rather be in the third trimester twenty times in a row versus going back to the misery of the first trimester.

Re: Running Full Circle

I agree that the initial two week waits were much worse. W e tried for a year and a half before getting pregnant so most of the time, the two week wait was pretty depressing. Now, I'm just excited!...

Re: Woohoo! We're getting the curtains in the baby's room installed

That is great that he is jumping into action! I am surprised that he is so picky about curtains though. I have never had a landlords care about things like that. Lol

Re: Being checked?

No checking for me yet. With my last pregnancy, they never did official checks but they did do vaginal exams at almost every visit. As a first time mom, I didn't question it. Now I'm wondering what...

Re: how often do you wake up to pee?

About 4-5 times a night. Lessthanthree, I am normally the one with an iron bladder too so this is ridiculously unusual for me. Luckily, I am able to sleep in in the mornings.

Re: Who gets in and out of cart first

So here's a dumb question: if you put your kids in before the groceries, how do you get the cart to the cart return? This was always my dilemma.
