Vitamin K is a necessary component of the clotting cascade within the liver. Mommy's have plenty, babies don't. So if Mommy has plenty, and takes extra, there is the potential for a Mommy to enter...

Hi Laura! I'm also a nurse, a CRNA actually. And I've had two natural births, in the hospital. I chose NCB because I believe that's what my body is made for, and I didn't want my baby to be born...
