I've had it from about 16 weeks, unfortunately your likely to get it again, earlier and worse in subsequent pregnancies. I've attended physiotherapy, on bad days I wear a maternity support tube...

The only name I seem to like is Harrison or Harry. Not fallen in love with any names yet so still up in the air. Don't mind the name Alfie either but so common here.

I'm ready for babies...

Re: Anybody else still undecided on a name?

I hate boys names, when people suggest them I want to tell them to shut up because I think they are all rubbish! But that's kinda rude so I hate to bit my tongue and say no to every one they say and...

Re: Leaking...

It's quite funny as reading this reminded me of all the 'solutions' I came up with to try and stop my breasts soaking through all my clothes. Breastpads never worked and even thick padded bras got...

Re: Leaking...

I leaked from 16 weeks with no1, and 18/19 weeks with no 2 and during this pregnancy. I've never heard of it being linked to preterm labour so would be interested where he got this research from? I...

Re: Baby tips!!

The first nappy I ever changed 6 1/2 years ago I got fired at. Echo what other mums have said, if it's a wet nappy you are changing just slide fresh one underneath, pull back dirty nappy slowly to...

Re: Baby birth weight

It's completely individual to every woman in every pregnancy and depends on gestation at delivery. After 37 weeks babies on average put in 1/4-1/2 lb each week I believe, that potentially means a...

Re: Partner is going to miss birth :(

He goes on deployment in sept for 6 months so will miss his first Xmas and potentially 1st birthday, it is really sad, but he should get a month off in the summer so will just make the most of it....

Re: Partner is going to miss birth :(

Thanks for the support ladies. I'd already asked my mum and best friend if they would like to attend the birth already so I have their support. My dad and sister will most likely pop in/out if it's a...

So my partner is in the navy and not on deployment but doing sea trials. He's back for two weeks at Christmas and one weekend (possibly two) around 22nd Feb. He's then away for a few weeks off Coast...

Re: Anemic

Pregnancy anemia is due to reduced hb, it is quite normal. I was anemic during both pregnancies. Ferrous sulphate tablets are usually recommended if HB is below 10.5 (in uk) below this increases the...

Re: Pelvic pain

Advice depends on what type of pain it is. I started having SPD at 16 weeks with this baby but later in pregnancy with my last 2. I'm not sure from your description if this is what you could have or...

Re: Not Breastfeeding. Please put down your weapons

I'm not saying it can't be difficult either but you have to flip the coin both sides for that. I believe women should be educated on what difficulties can arise from breastfeeding, but at the same...

Re: Not Breastfeeding. Please put down your weapons

I don't think my post was judgemental at all, I didn't say bottle feeding is the wrong choice either, just a choice I don't think should be made before giving birth-whether you are a first time mum...

Re: Not Breastfeeding. Please put down your weapons

Re: Not Breastfeeding. Please put down your weapons
