Re: Daily Dish 11/4 (Presents)

We have never given siblings a gift when a baby is born. My mil gave us a big box of stuff for my firstborn when #2 was born but we put the box away and used it for Xmas gifts instead. :) I've done...

Re: Who is going into delivery with you?

Usually I have my dh (he's the camera guy), at least 2 of my dds, 3-4 ladies from church and one of their dh's (who is there not only for my dh but for me as he ends up being the best "coach" of them...

Re: Breech Baby

I was told by my midwife to not attempt to turn a baby until closer to 35-36 weeks.

If it is any consolation, my twins went from both being transverse to both being head down to both being feet...

Re: Classes?

I read a book with #1 and took a class with #2. Neither helped at all. I wish I'd had videos as I feel they are much more realistic at portraying labor/delivery. Even now I watch things like One Born...

Re: Lovenox shots?

Lurking here...I've been on Lovenox (or a generic) for my last 4 pregnancies. They really aren't that bad but make sure to inject the medication SLOWLY! It can burn so the slower you go, the better....

Re: Daily Dish 10/21 (Diaper Bags)

It's red with black trim, I guess it's canvas - not as heavy as typical canvas, though. This thing is so awesome, I love it! And if something happens to it, I know it only cost me $2. Plus I...

One of those "WHOA!" moments

I don't see myself in the mirror without clothes on. It's nothing weird, I just always have a towel or clothes on when I walk past a mirror. And while I have a belly pic with my shirt up, my dh took...

Re: Daily Dish 10/21 (Diaper Bags)

I got a LLBean travel bag for a whopping $2 at Goodwill. This bag is awesome - lots of pockets and storage! I'm all about good deals, lol.

Re: How often are your regular OB or midwife appts now!?

I don't tell my OB that I'm only coming in every 5-6 weeks. He tells me to schedule an appointment for 4 weeks, I smile and say goodbye (I make sure to not say anything that would be in agreement...

Re: Feminine feel?

I don't see either of those as first names at all so they are neither feminine nor masculine. To me, they are surnames only. I can't see using either on a child, but especially a girl.

Re: Names?

Thanks! I love that when a thread was started on another Jan. birth board, I was the only one out of literally hundreds of women with the name Phoebe for my baby. :) I think it's adorable, too.

Re: Names?

I am still waffling and it is making me crazy!! First names are set: Phoebe or Davis. Middle names...sigh. I really love Eden and am leaning toward Grant for the boy. I don't know for sure, though.

Re: Siblings

I would love to have one more after this one, but I learned that I can't plan siblings, lol. This baby will have the largest age gap of all my kids and that concerns me, so if I could make things...

Re: How often are your regular OB or midwife appts now!?

I'm only going in every 4-5 weeks. I hope to keep it at at least 3 weeks between appointments until 32 weeks at least. At some point I need to choose...

OK, so at least I know it wasn't just me being hormonal. :) Thanks, ladies. Glad I'm not getting that u/s now, too.

I'm surprised to find how many women are getting the later growth u/s...

Re: Which do you prefer?

I'm going to change my mind...I like Sawyer better than Myles (which I prefer with an "i", fwiw). Sawyer and Mason sound cool together. :)

I bought a carseat and two strollers quite a while ago. All are used/resale so I really scored as far as pricing goes! Like-new BOB stroller for $30, for example! So we're set as far as purchases go...

Re: We moved down!!!

I'm not freaking out quite yet. I love being pregnant (except for this...
