Baking soda and gender

Hello!! :)

Has anyone tried the baking soda test? I keep reading about it and a lot of the results seemed to be accurate. I'm wondering what the accuracy would be for our DDC!
If you did try it and you know the gender, was it right for you?

lol im skeptical. I used my urine saliva ph strips and my ph is 6.5 boy zone, but my cervical mucus is 4 girl zone, I want to do intelligender BUT by the time it gets here my gender scan will be here so I wont do that, and I want to do the baking soda thing to but will look up how to do it again :)

Re: Baking soda and gender

You put 1 tsp of baking soda in a cup and add urine. If it fizzes it's a boy, no fizz girl! :)

Maybe I will try and do this tonight - I am finding out in about 2 weeks from now so it would be interesting to see if it is accurate for me:)

Mine said boy around 5 weeks and it was right. With my last daughter it said girl. Never did it before that.

I think there was some fizz - not a lot, but I count it as predicting boy for me:)

Re: Baking soda and gender

I'm not sure. I read that if its a boy result you will know it. Apparently it all fizzes a little bit but a boy result is like if you shake a bottle of soda.
