Hello ladies,

My name is Brandi....I'm 22 and pregnant with my first 2 babies :)

I found out that I was pregnant on Mother's Day and my pregnancy has been a breeze ever since (until Wednesday)

I have had several u/s and they have all showed one very healthy baby with a strong heartbeat.....on Wednesday I went in for my NT scan and the doctor discovered that there was in fact TWO BABIES and they were conjoined....

Dh and I were hoping that the doctor was wrong (or atleast the twins were conjoined in such a way that they could be EASILY separated)

We were sent to a specialist on Thursday who confirmed our WORST fear....our babies are non-viable conjoined twins.....They have ONE HEAD and ONE HEART but have TWO completely formed bodies....The babies' face has a cleft lip and palate, the heart has a defect and the organs are on the outside of their bodies

There is nothing we can do for them!! My doctor suggested a D&C which I am absolutely not going to do! I told him he is not allowed to cut up and THROW AWAY my babies!!!

I am currently trying to find someone that will induce labor and let me give birth to my babies....the babies are currently alive, but will probably not be alive much longer....they will defnitely be stillborn at the time of delivery, and DH and I have already started making arrangements for their funeral.....

The past few days have been the LONGEST of my life.....I really thought that at the end of this I was going to have a baby.....and now to find out that I am LOSING TWO babies is just beyond devastating.....I am so sorry for the losses you have suffered....I can truly say that I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL....God bless you all and your angel babies.....

Brandi... I am so sorry hon  I lost my little one at 11 weeks. My water broke at 14 weeks.

I can only imagine what you are going through. My heart really does ache for you. I hope you can find some peace in being able to bury your angels.

It must be hard to find a doctor to respect your wishes. I know mine would have made me have a D&C if I went much longer in the pregnancy. It's frustrating because at this point in the pregnancy they are kinda limited as to what drugs they can give you. I hope you can get someone to listen to you soon so you can begin to heal. :(

If you need anything at all....just ask. Once again I am very sorry :dothug:

I am so sorry that you are going through this. I hope that your doctors find a hospital that will let you be induced so that you are able to bury your babies as you wish to do.

If you need more support, feel free to join us over on the Pregnancy Loss Board as well (it is a little busier than this board is). If you need anything, please let us know.

Brandi,

I am so sorry that you have to go through this. I know that there are not much words of comfort right now, but just know that we are here for you whenever you want to vent, scream or cry. I lost my little girl only 3 months ago at 27 weeks, so although our situations are different we still know the pain of losing a child. You will be in my T&P. Sending big :dothug: your way!

Brandi, I am so sorry to hear your news.

I found out at 17 weeks that my first baby had anencephaly. I carried her to term knowing she wouldn't survive.

I hope and pray you find a doctor who understands your need to deliver your babies xxxxxxxxxx

I feel so sorry for you Brandi. I posted to you on your DDC board a while ago. I can't imagine losing 2 babies, may God give you the strength to go through this. My heart really goes out for you.

My son was born sleeping on June 20, 2006. We found out that he did not have a heartbeat when I went into labor at 38w and 2days, I had felt him a few hours before. I know how you feel like.
