Blood hcg test at 8 DPO?

Will I get definitive results from quantitative? Everything I'm seeing indicates it'd be too early.

I had my dr appt this morning, I do not have another UTI. Kidneys aren't where my back pain is (it's low, like lower lumbar). She thinks it could be a virus, but isn't sure, so my blood work will hopefully give some clues one way or the other. I'm glad she ordered a PG test though.

But the back pain continues, and the dull cramping/twinges is present the majority of the time. More about what happened yesterday on my run in my journal and how I generally felt like poo last night.

They wont be definitive results no matter what they come back as unfortunately. If they are <5 then there is a chance it was just too early and if it is higher you will want to take another HCG 2 days later to confirm the number is doubling. I think 8 DPO is pushing the limit on early detection as it could very easily be before implantation.

I hope you can figure out what is wrong though!!! Sorry you are feeling bad!!

That's what I thought.

It's kinda pointless on that end. Maybe I'll hold off for a few days, unless I start feeling a lot worse.
