Monday Challenge Check in
 
Monday August 19

Water goal: 2/3 the oz figured out in the formula above
Food goal: 1400-1600 calories
Exercise goal: 20 minute cardio/60 minute cardio/90 minute cardio


How'd you do?

Just a heads up, I'm going back in to modify those cardio options to be 20/40/60.


I've done the cardio, a 2.71mile walk in just over an hour. I made two stops along the way so I cut out the time I was in the vet office and in Family dollar. Starting Wednesday I'll be using the gps on my phone. I am sore, hot and sweaty. usually the 1st half of my walks are my gusto walks... but on the way home I had a string of awesome songs.

I've gotten in about 1/3 of my water. I'm REALLY struggling getting in the water. I'm just not thirsty :(

I have been doing pretty good about getting in all of my water.

Yesterday I went to my hour long power class at the gym. It is an intense barbell class.

Today I am going to my cycling class.

I was pretty bad in the food section on Sunday but was good yesterday and will be today so I will not go over my weekly ww points.

Yesterday I did well with the cardio
Did the first run/walk for the c25k program
About 28minutes total and 18of that was jog/walking intervals

Water I probably didn't make the goal but drank more than usual.. I'm normally terrible about water intake!

For food...I almost did perfect except for a slipup after lunch when I had a brownie :( fail! But other than that I had a green smoothie, a tuna fish sandwich , and for dinner we had fresh corn cakes with tomato and avocado salsa and black beans...delicious! ... Trying not to eat meat for dinners so have a bunch of healthy vegetarian and vegan recipes planned :)

brownie does not equal fail!!!!!
When trying to lose weight/get fit nothing should be offlimits. You want a brownie? have one. The key is having ONE. You want a lil 6 pack of oreos? eat em.

Heck I had 2 small slices of cheesecake last night (we had 4 left,and it expired last night... can't throw out cheese cake!) right after I ate pizza for dinner :p I don't feel like I cheated at all!


I did get sneaky and threw a bunch of ground up flax seed into the pizza dough. Dh didn't even notice.

Power to you to give up meat. DH's skin condition means he needs a decent amount of protein with each meal. We've tried powders.. but where he doesn't eat things like beans... it kinda brings us back to meat. Thankfully he is SUPER fussy on fat content, so we only eat leaner cuts that have had all the fat trimmed off.

I did pretty well yesterday- went to a 60 min cardio dance class, didn't track calories but ate clean all day, and drank more water than usual. I'm struggling with the water, too, and haven't kept track of amounts- but just knowing I need to drink more is helping to remind me.

just did an hour run/jog before I logged on to here to post an update on opk tests. I like to do it right after work so I don't get lazy and not do it. lol.
messed up big time yesterday though. I only did about 15 minutes in the morning and after court we went for pizza. I over did it and had 3 slices and a piece of bread. felt bloated today. blehh. lol
