This subforum is a neat idea. I like the idea of a forum of women who are all doing this for the first time.

So I'm Rose, I am due December 28 with my first. I am very lucky and only officially TTC for one month. I'm extremely nervous though because it seems there are sooo many miscarriages in the December DDC. I had a positive blood test two days ago, but I have no symptoms right now.

Hang in there...I really didn't start getting symptoms until 6 weeks...and then they were gone by 8...for the most part

Except my boobs...they are a completely different story. The Nov DDC had a bunch of m/c the past couple weeks which got me worried...but I think it is normal since it is our first pregnancy. not to worry, just keep thnking about the beautiful baby you are going to have in a few months.

Hi,

I'm Pam and I'm due Dec. 17th. It took my second month on clomid to get a bfp.

I know how you feel Rose. All the miscarriages have really made me nervous. However on tuesday I got to have an ultrasound and saw that things are looking great, so that eases my mind somewhat.

:dothug: to you both, thanks for coming back

Rose and Heidi, be strong girls, just think of this ... for the bunch of girls that have had m/c on the boards there are an even bigger bunch on here AND out there that have or will give birth to healthy babies. In some ways I think these boards do scare people as they give an unrealistic view of the number of people out there that need medication or have m/c.

I know!! i notice that too!! so many ladies go through m/c it seems, and it worries me. I really feel for them, and it must be really hard.

flyingpiglet April 28th, 2007 07:47 PM

yeah I had to take a break for a while because it was just so hard to see girls leaving when you know that many of them had tried so hard and were so excited to be becoming moms...but now I have a different perspective...whatever happens is god's plan and I just have to stay positive! Plus I entered the second trimester yesterday so risks decrease dramatically from here on out!!

azurerose April 28th, 2007 07:53 PM

Congratulations on reaching the 2nd trimester! My DH jokes that I'm counting the hours of my pregnancy.

Elena April 28th, 2007 08:16 PM

My dh made a countdown clock program for the computer. I could count the seconds if I wanted to.

azurerose April 28th, 2007 08:19 PM

That is so funny! I should get my DH to do that. I'm sure he could.

flyingpiglet April 28th, 2007 08:20 PM

hehehehe...I think my DH would want that more than me...oh boy!

You girls crack me up, I hope that I get this excited!

azurerose April 28th, 2007 08:24 PM

I'm sure you will!!

star24 April 29th, 2007 12:45 AM

i dont know how far i am for a few more days (darn irregular cycles!) but i think thats a good idea for a counter-ticker thing!!

Elena April 29th, 2007 10:01 AM

It was actually dh's idea. I guess it's his techie way of saying he's excited.
