I was going over my calendar from last year counting the days in my luteal phase. I didn't start keeping track of Oing until June. From June 23-25 I got positive OPK readings. I did not start my period until July 28 so I don't think I actually Oed. I got another positive OPK Aug 21 - 23 and my period on sept 8. However, I had heavy spotting for a week before my period. If spotting signals the end of my luteal phase, then my luteal phase was only 8 days. I had my next pos OPK Oct 8-10. 11 days later I began spotting. I had a pos. preg test a week later, which turned out to be a chem preg.

I am wondering if I have been counting the days wrong for my luteal phase. Is the end of it when spotting occurs? Oh and this is not implantation bleeding. This is spotting for a full week where I need to change pantyliners. (sorry...TMI)

What do you think?

ETA: I took 2 pos. Opks Nov 25-26 and got a BFP on Dec 10. (14 days later and confirmed via blood test)) I don't have any spotting recorded and started my period on Dec. 15.

I spot during many odd times in my cycle. It could be that you have be counting it wrong. I do spot most of the times a couple days before I O and after. that is why it is hard to tell when I could be IB!

Thanks for the reply. I will tell my dr. what I found. I may just be grasping at straws. I'm terrified that my chem pregs had to do with chromosomal abnormalities or something that cannot be fixed.
