I think it would be fun to keep a pregnancy journal. It would be neat to look back on and see what every day and week were like. Has anyone else done this or is planning on doing this? Just wondered....

I haven't for pregnancy, but I did on our trip to Cuba 6 years ago. I've picked it up a couple times since then and read it. It really brings you back. I remember the trip fairly well but the journal really brings it all back.

I plan to do a pregnancy journal when the time comes!

I think I will. I've even started a few times. Not official. Just some notes here
and there on months that I thought I might be experiencing some symptoms. I would write them down and the dpo that I felt them, if they continued, etc. I figured that if I wound up getting a ++++ - I would transfer my notes to a real
journal....

I kept one with the pregnancy that ended in miscarriage. It's sad, but kind of neat to look back. It's kind of my memory of that baby. I will certainly do it with all of my pregnancy. It's a great way to remember the appointments and ups and downs that go along. I would recommend to anyone, keeping one for memory sake.

I am so sorry you two. That has to be so hard. I've never experienced it myself, and hope to god I never do... so I can't say that I understand - but I will say that I feel for you and hope that Carah gets some of that Feb. Luck that's been going around and Mika, I hope you get a baby when you are ready to try again.

Thanks all. I think I will definitely start one and pay attention to what's going on. I find it all very interesting. One thing differ I've noticed this time vs the last (when I m/c) is that my cramps have been much more mild. Yeah. Hopefully that's a good sign. Can't wait until the 3rd of March to find out how you ladies are doing. Baby dust for some BFP's!!!

I think I will keep a pregnancy journal, it would be nice to look back and compare with later pregnancies.

I will be doing an online journal, currently I have one going on my ttc journey

I am not. I don't ahve time with running around with a 5 year old. We do a lot during the day together. I don't have time to think most of the time. I cannot beleive I have been on here this long this evening really (normally I read 2-3 post and then have to come back later) Anyways my sister did with her twins, and did a whole scrap book of her ttc, treatments, and her final (it was her 2 one) IVF and pg. They do have lots of neat books out there to do them in though...

Do you mean online as in on the pc or are you referring to a website or something of that nature?

AlaynasMommy February 23rd, 2005 03:59 PM

I'm going to keep a pregnancy journal starting now. :) I actually just picked up a book today and I'm going to start writing in it every night with what I'm feeling, what I'm eating, etc... I really hope that I can look back on it one day!!

jmvitt February 23rd, 2005 04:43 PM

I have thought for a long time that I would keep a pregnancy journal when the time comes. I want to have those memories day by day as well as the feelings, hopes, and anticipation, especially given that we have been trying for awile. I also thought of keeping a journal of the pregnancy to give to my baby when he/she was old enough.

*~Lissa~* February 23rd, 2005 04:47 PM

I have a family website and have my own personal journal and I post there as my ttc adn hopefully soon pg journal
