Does a positive HPT, mean you have completely implanted?

Got my first positive HPT at either 8 or 9 DPO and am now 10 or 11 DPO. I have had a positive every day. Does this mean implantation has completely already occurred in full? I know what a pregnancy looks like at 4 weeks, but it says at 3 weeks...implantation is happening. If I have already implanted days ago and am not 4 weeks until Tuesday, what's going on in there now?:smile:

You start producing hCG after implantation. You implanted early, so your test was able to read positive early.

Thanks :))

Is it bad too implant early. I'm pretty sure I implanted Monday which was 7DPO and got my first poS HPT Wednesday....

7dpo is a normal implantation day :). I think you can start producing hcg as soon as a fertilised egg starts implanting, not when it's finished implanting so maybe possibly to get a pos while still implanting? I don't know how long it takes for a baby to implant fully from start to finish.

Dr Google tells me that implantation can take between 1-5 days to complete so I would say it may be possible to get a + hpt while still implanting (uneducated opinion of course :D)

I would say that since you have gotten a positive pregnancy test that your little eggie is probably mostly implanted and get snuggly in there.

Or maybe because your having twins hence the fast hcg rise, and early pregnancy detection.

:D
