Just starting to try again after miscarriage...

Hi. I'm Minnie, I'm just starting to try again after I had a miscarriage in March.

I'm feeling kind of weird about it this time around. I thought I was over the miscarriage (blighted ovum. It happened, I dealt with it, I thought I moved on...) but I'm feeling sort of apathetic. We tried for five months before to get pregnant, and every month was crazy tracking and symptom spotting and acupuncture and green tea and sex on a schedule... and now I'm just... meh?

We all get like that after so long, especially with you dealing with a recent loss. Its hard, and we all know. The only thing I can is to take it one day at a time and try not to wrap yourself up in it too much. No reason to make yourself miserable if you don't have to. Everyday you are one step closer, it all depends on how many steps are left. But none us of know the answer to that till we are at the end. So taking it one day at a time tends to help me not feel overwhelmed by everything.

I agree - all you can do is take it one day at a time. Maybe this time just have fun with it? Not so much schedule and tracking as fun?

Good luck and I hope you get your BFP very soon! You deserve it :D

I had a missed miscarriage before I got pregnant with my DD an I totally understand. Even though you think you're over it, it can be hard to get enthusiastic about trying again because that fear may still be in the back of your mind. It's ok to feel what you're feeling. If you want to be more relaxed about it this time, that's ok! Just take things a day at a time and hang in there.

I am so sorry for your loss. I applaud you for being courageous and jumping back into TTC again. I agree with the previous poster that if you are wanting to be more relaxed about it then do it. And it is perfectly normal to take things one day at a time. Fingers crossed for you that you get your bfp soon.
