Yet Another Charting Question

So I guess this is more of a temping question... I keep waking up the last few days around 430 and then going back to sleep till about 530 (around when my alarm goes off) and temping then. My question is, if i wake up early, should i just temp then? wont the 530 temp be off since i technically only had one hour of sleep before it? or would the 430 temp be off since its an hour early...? im confused

I would temp at 430, then. This happened to me, a lot and I would just temp before I fell back asleep.

Yes, you need to temp when you wake up, then your result will be most accurate.

Re: Yet Another Charting Question

When TTC if you wake briefly and fall back asleep it should not affect your temps greatly if at all. You can temp when you get up at 5:30, or at 4:30. If you want, you can even experiment and temp at both times to see if there is much of a change, but be consistent and only keep like the first temp. Maybe next cycle you can just temp at 4:30 and then go back to sleep?

(btw, I think I even read that you can even get up go to the bathroom and go back to bed and temp an hour later or so and it shouldn't affect things too much if your body is used to it)

I would temp at 4:30. You can either adjust it, or leave it. I really dont think it makes that big of a deal being off by an hour.

Here is a temp converter.
