Sad day (m/c mentioned)

Well, after 12 months of TTC with no luck, I finally got a positive pregnancy test. Went to the doctor because I've been spotting. He ran betas wednesday and today and my numbers went from 359 to 129. I'm devestated. It is so not fair to wait 12 months only to have it taken away in just two days. Here are my tests. Cheapies from Wednesday, yesterday and today. Answer from this morning. http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/...ds/image-2.jpg

I am so sorry to hear this. Are they going to run anotherBeta? I know they can sometimes fluctuate..
I TTC for about seven months, got pg and he was born
still at 36w 4d. So if you need some one to talk to,
I understand your pain.

Thank you ladies. Am I crazy or is today's test darker? It is the one on the bottom.

Re: Sad day (m/c mentioned)

He told me to come back Friday for a recheck to make Sure they had dropped to zero. If my tests keep getting darker and I haven't started bleeding, I'm going to call him Monday and ask if they can do another beta then. This is so weird...

Maybe you were pregnant with twins? I think I remember someone posting and thought they miscarried and they ended up still pregnant.

The test today definitely looks darker.

I'm so sorry. I hope the next betas come back as going up instead of down. I can understand how you feeling having gone through two m/cs in the past year. You try so hard for that baby just to be taken away is cruel and heartbreaking. :hugs:

Re: Sad day (m/c mentioned)

I'm sorry. I agree with the PP, I would have another beta done. It's possible it was twins like the other ladies have said. I had a M/C Jan.2013 and have been scared to TTC untill Feb of this year.Good luck sweetie, keep us posted.

Re: Sad day (m/c mentioned)

It could certainly be vanishing twin syndrome, ladies who lose a twin will see a drop or slowing of betas on for it to shoot back up from the surviving twin.
