Looking for some help! (m/c mentioned)

Hi everyone,

So I am currently on Day 4 of M/C and I believe it is approaching the end. Most of the physical stuff has subsided (only light bleeding and cramping now). I would like to get some help on trying to figure out all the ovulation stuff... I have never had to do this before. For example what do Calendar Days mean and how do you figure out days post ovulation or when you are ovulating, etc. Would I count this M/C as a menstrual period? I'm really confused about all of this... just would like to know when I can expect to ovulate and have a period again? Sorry for the lengthy post...

I am so sorry for your loss, I just had a m/c as well. I just stopped bleeding the day before yesterday and have many of the same questions. Fx that you have a very sticky bean soon!

hi there. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I've had four of them myself. Two the natural, two buy D&C. not that I'm considering myself an expert, but I do know if you things. I've always been told to consider the DNC as your last menstrual cycle. The first day of your heavy bleeding will be your first day of the new cycle. it is hard to say when you'll get your next period or ovulate because you don't know when your HCG beta level returns back to 0. you can buy the Ovulation Predictor kits which is what I've used in the past to test your LH surge and when you get positive results you will be ovulating shortly. I've always been told to wait at least one more cycle after a miscarriage to give your body a rest. If you get pregnant after your miscarriage it increases your chances of another miscarriage because your body is not ready. I hope this helps.
