Hi all!!
Okay, I have a question... I'm 20 weeks pregnant and recently I havr been feeling like a pulling in my stomach ... kinda like I've done 100 sit ups or something. I don't know if I'm just stretching or it's something else. It doesn't hurt it just feels really sore. Is anyone else having this...???? I have been sick for the past 2 weeks and I hace been coughing and I thought that maube from coughing so much that my abdominal walls are sore... what do you think?

its most likely your tummy stretching to make room for the baby, but i would ask your dr

i am 22wks and i have been having that off and on. i would think it would be from stretching but if you are concerned about it then talk with your doc. who knows maybe its a little of both. good luck

I would say that it is an excellent chance of being your ligaments stretching out to make room for the baby!

At 20 weeks, your baby is going to be atleast 7 inches long and well, that is pretty big if you tink about it!!!!

But if you still feel unsure, check with your doctor!

I'd say it's probably stretching...I think it's stretching, and the coughing wouldn't really help either considering you use your abs to cough. Now that they're all stretch out, I would think they'd be a little bit more prone to muscle pain.
To tell you the truth, I had the same thing a few weeks back. Sleeping was horrible!! Well sleeping is still horrible, but now for other pregnancy related reasons! I wouldn't worry too too much about it unless it started hurting a lot...but I also wouldn't hesitate to bring it up at my next doc appt!
Hope this helps!!!
