It seems like every time I try to make progress
I am bombarded by challenges yet and still
I have no one to blame but myself
When I went to enroll for the new semester I found out
I have no financial aid
And I can only afford to pay for one class
Who to blame myself for dropping out when I was younger
I was slated to start my one class tomorrow but the transportation I was depending on fell through
I can only blame myself for never learning to drive, so I called and dropped the one class
I guess this year won't start off as planned
I'm going to cry and feel sorry for myself for awhile
Then call around for a driving school in my area
More and more everyday I find myself wondering if this pregnancy should just be terminated
At 25 almost 26 I am uunprepared for lifelife let alone a child
Re: self pity
I'm sorry things aren't going well for you :(. Hopefully you think thoroughly about your decision whether or not to keep your child. Try to keep your head up and keep doing what your doing, even though things aren't seem to be going wrong right after another it will get better. You're doing everything you can to prepare to good life for you and your little boy or girl and you should be proud of yourself :). If you decide in the end that you don't want to go through with being a mommy would adoption be another option?? I'm sure you thought about it and it would be a better option for that little girl or boy rather than termination. There are plenty of good families out there who would be overjoyed to welcome your little angel into their homes if you decided you weren't ready. Just give it some more thought before making such a big decision. I'm sure it seems right now very overwhelming with everything going wrong and with the arrival of a baby getting closer every minute..but try to stay positive and things will work out they way they are meant to. We all go through moments of getting overwhelmed and worrying how things are going to work out, it just comes with the territory of being an adult/parent and these little rugrats are definently worth it :). They give our life a real purpose. Btw congratulations :).
Re: self pity
Just think of it this way. You have these all of this time to work towards being the best mom you can be. You have all of these amazing things to look forward to that a lot of ladies aren't as blessed to experience... ultrasounds, hearing his/her heart beat, feeling his/her first movements inside of you, finally holding them in your arms for the first time..not to mention witnessing their milestones and achievements as they grow up and eventually start families of their own. You may have some things that aren't going so well for you with school and driving but you have some amazing things that are going great for you too...just look down :).
Re: self pity
as hard as it is to take, life is going to be filled with ups and downs. of course it always seems like the downs are all clustered together, making life difficult. one thing i've found solace in was my faith.
