I'm KatyKristiansen. I had been born in Connecticut. I live in the UK now. I spent the majority of my childhood in Stonington, a little, seaside town around the Connecticut-Rhode Island border. My dad would be a commercial fisherman and also, since he was from Norwegian, existence around the ocean would be a natural for him. My mother would be a housewife. I was the normal '50's family. A lot of my childhood was spent round the docks and fishing boats for sale of Stonington. In 1954, my dad along with a couple of from the other anglers made the decision to test their luck at shrimping in Brownsville, Texas. Following a couple of several weeks, and incredibly little success, we came back to Stonington. The majority of the Stonington motorboats were selling their catches in New Bedford, MA, therefore it wasn't any surprise that in 1959, we packed up and moved. I work for pay day loan company
