The best thing about embroidery is the fact that you hardly ever have to buy supplies. There are adorable free patterns galore, and I already have tons of embroidery floss that my Mom handed down to me. Plus, you can make the sweetest and cheapest gifts EVER! Next up is another yarn wreath. I just can’t get enough of them.
Is there anything more satisfying than completing a project you’ve pinned on Pinterest? It is not unlike checking things off a lengthy to do list. It feels good, folks. Damn good.
Confession: That wasn’t my original inspiration, but I swear I have a bunch of disappearing pins. Not sure what is going on. Either way, you get the point. That was my first time making a little softy. Those hearts are pretty adorable as long as you don’t look too closely at the stitching! I did some surgery on one of Haeden’s stuffed animals in order to stuff it… but don’t worry, he didn’t see anything. Ha!
And the last one I made for my Mom. She’s my biggest cheerleader when it comes to crafting, so I feel like she deserves to be rewarded here and there! Inspiration: Mom
This was so quick and easy. Last summer, I made shorts out of old jeans, but I decided to keep the legs just in case I could get some other uses out of them. Originally, I was going to put the lace over some white cotton so that it was just barely noticeable, but then I remembered the jeans and the fact that my Mom loooves jean material. I mean, the woman has jean couches, you guys. I think it came out pretty great considering it only took me about an hour start to finish. Aaaand, most importantly, she loves it.
Have you “pinned it and did it” lately?
