Florida allows you to do it anywhere you and your child are allowed to be. It also says that you're protected from charges like indecent exposure, etc. It doesn't say anything about doing it in a discreet way, but I think that I would always do that anyway. I have no problem with the idea of breastfeeding in public, but you can bet that I'm not just going to be throwing my boobs around for everyone to see.

As for midwifery, it's legal in the state for licensed midwives, and is even reimbursable by private insurance companies and Medicaid.
