Anyone else experiencing an increase in toddler gibberish at their house? Betsy is becoming quite the gibberish fan -- when she pretends to read a story, when she's just randomly talking -- it's becoming a little bit annoying. I've tried telling her to use her words and that I don't understand what she's saying, but she just continues.

Just curious what's going on in your toddlers' heads. :)

Re: Gibberish?
Chase doesn't really use much gibberish. When he "reads" his books, he usually says some of the words from the story that he remembers.

Re: Gibberish?
Of my 3, Teresa definitely babbled/used gibberish the least. When she "reads" it's always Once upon a time, (a word or 2 based on the picture), The End. Every once in awhile she'll use a word than none of us understand though.

When Caleb gets really hyper/excited about telling us something his sentences turn to gibberish.

Yes!! I'm so glad you posted this :) The past few weeks, I swear Max has made up his own language  He'll use babble or just make up random words for things, and then laugh his little head off.
