Back or tummy?
Does your owlet prefer to play on their back or their tummy?

Re: Back or tummy?
Both, rolls and rolls.

Re: Back or tummy?
Depends on his moods...and he's just started rolling so now he can decide when he wants to change instead of freaking out lol.

Re: Back or tummy?
Neither...she just wants to sit up or stand...all day long...lol. But, we do play on her back and tummy, too.

Tummy or side. He's not a back sleeper at all.

Re: Back or tummy?
She prefers standing up in her exersaucer above all. But she does like back more than tummy at the moment.

Re: Back or tummy?
Both, but lately he's been trying really hard to crawl, so he's on his tummy a lot. He's making me nervous because he started rocking on his knees this week! Eeeeekkk! Stay still baby!

Re: Back or tummy?
Back, Summer still isn't a fan of any tummy time. :(

Re: Back or tummy?
Used to be his back, but now that he rolls both ways... He's just rolling across the floor. If I turn my back he's under the couch lol.

Re: Back or tummy?
She does a bit of both, but will only stay on her tummy for so long.

Re: Back or tummy?
Ditto Aubrey/Summer. Ava still hates tummy time.

Re: Back or tummy?
Jack dislikes tummy time (well, for anything longer than 5 minutes), but he LOVES sleeping on his tummy. If I lay him on his back during the day, he's content to stay that way. If I lay him on his back at bedtime, he instantly rolls over onto his tummy. I've noticed that once he's asleep, though, he will sometimes roll back over onto his back. He's kind of all over the place at night.

Re: Back or tummy?
Finn gets frustrated on his back or tummy. Funny though because he just loves to roll. :)

Re: Back or tummy?
 Melanie... he could just be perpetually rolling and happy as a clam. ;)

Re: Back or tummy?
She mostly sits but ends up on her tummy since she can scoot around that way. Unlike my other kiddies though she loves to sleep on her back.

Re: Back or tummy?
he just rolls from back to tummy and then rolls back over to his back. He will only play on the floor for about 15 minutes before he is tired of it and wants to be held or in his exersaucer.

Re: Back or tummy?
Ryan prefers his back. He can roll from his back to his stomach but screams after 5 minutes because he can't flip back over.

NICURNmommy January 16th, 2013 06:22 AM

Rose loves her back. I really didn't push too much tummy time when she was younger because she would always get frustrated, but now she likes most of her time sitting with a toy in her hand.
