All nighter...ish
My poor Brocky boy has been up and crying for the last four hours and I've tried everything!! I had to wake up his dad from his mighty slumber (I won't even start on that). So just wanted to say FU FORMULA!!!! I want a breast fed baby that I can sooth....maybe I'm dreaming that breast feeding makes happy content babies and in reality were all up with crying newborns. Our Pedi told us today that he's fine sleeping through the night now (6 hours) so as FTP we thought he would lmao!!! We're idiots!! This poor child has idiot parents.

I'm so sorry - that is rough. You might want to try a different formula. Maybe that one upset his tummy?

Oh how I wish they would sleep through the night if they knew they could. Avery slept four hours straight the other night and I when I woke up and realized how long it had been I gave her a huge kiss and hug and said thank you. Felt like a new woman. lol

Seriously though like Kary said maybe a different formula, or if you haven't tried mylicon that works wonders for upset tummies. We had a couple of bad tummy all nighters due to gas and constipation. That stuff really helped take care of it long enough to let her rest a little.

Mylicon worked wonders for DD who had issues with gas.

And amen to what a couple of hours of consecutive sleep can do for the mom of a newborn. Caroline went 4.5 hours last night and I could have run a marathon I felt so rested!

Lexi also did 4 hours between feedings last night! Back to back, too! So I feel incredible! She's starting to cluster feed in the early evening now, which I believe is her "tanking up" for the night. I'll take that over middle of the night cluster feeding any day!
