Sleep Solutions for small spaces
We are going to have the baby in our room the first few months. I am looking at small sleep solutions, either a bassinet, or a small pack and play. A small pack and play would be perfect because I could use it longer term and take it with me to travel. So far I have looked at two items, but I want more options to look at.

Amazon.com: Graco Travel Lite Crib, Winslet: Baby

Amazon.com: Fisher-Price Rock 'n Play Portable Bassinet: Baby

I like both of these because I can use them for travel (I go to see family) and they are small enough to fit in the 27" wide spot at the foot of my bed between the bed and the wall. I am leaning more toward the pack and play because I can use it longer, but I will probably end up with what I can find at the best price.

I am sure these aren't the only options I have though. Does any one have any other options to consider? I am not comfortable with baby in the bed with us.

Re: Sleep Solutions for small spaces
I also am not comfortable with baby sleeping in bed with us, as I toss and turn a lot (lol) and the DH well he has flaring arms and legs when he sleeps lol.. our poor dog learned after like a week not to be in bed at night when we were sleeping, shes gotten hit, kicked and every thing in between and he doesn't even know, heck I video taped him one night.. He felt horrible of what he did of course, it wasn't on purpose, he had no idea what he was doing in his sleep.. lol..
We got a bassinet to stick beside the bed....

I did however see them small beds for baby's that can attach to the side of your bed. How about something like that even maybe?

Arms reach co-sleeper. I did almost buy one from a friend, then I lost my income and couldn't do it.

The rock n play thing is what we are using :) since the baby sleeps so much at first its light and I can carry it up and down the stairs from the bedroom to the living room easily. . .
I already have it and it really is small but perfect!

I like the pack n' play. But we will probably end up putting baby straight in a crib.
