BH question
Being my 4th I should know about these....but I really don't remember having them before! And I've never been in labor before (all scheduled c/s) so I can't compare anything to real ctx.

I've been crampy this morning, can feel my whole uterus hard. My parents called and I was talking to them until my 3yr old grabbed the phone and ran upstairs (he wanted to show my mom his blankie lol), I got up to go after him and couldn't stand up straight! Is this just because it's all tightened down so hard to stretch out to stand up?

Re: BH question
That sounds like BH contractions to me (but this is my first and I'm no expert.) Many women have said that standing up too quickly triggers them. I haven't experienced this but the actually cramping and hardening of the uterus has become familiar for me. The standing up thing could just be your body responding to the contraction. Like how it is hard to straighten out a limb when you get a muscle spasm or a charlie horse, you know?

Re: BH question
I am having more. Especially on warmer days when I am not staying hydrated. I am attributing the "more BH" this round to my first summer pregnancy.

Re: BH question
That definitely sounds like it to me. Fun times with BH. For me I have to walk a fine line between staying hydrated and not being too hydrated because both cause them.

Re: BH question
I'm having #3 and I have been having non-stop BH since 16 weeks. It feels like a tightening/hardening. My doc said that the more babies you have, the earlier and more BH you have. They haven't been effecting my cervix so my doc isn't worried. He said it is very normal, just a pain.
