We went to the ER yesterday. Thankfully they got us right in the positive pressure room. His gland on the left side had gone down quite a bit but the one on the right had swollen more. We called the ped and they said to go ahead and take him in to get him checked out. The ER doc did another CBC, another strep, and tested for mono two different ways. Strep and Mono were both negative again but he said that often kids that have mono will still test negative for it. With the CBC, the overall white count went down from 5.0 to 4.8. Not bad but he is now out of the normal range altogether. His ANC was still 1.9 though so at least that has stabilized and not dropped any further. He said if his gland gets over 1 inch in diameter (it is 3/4 inches now) than he needs to go back in and if he doesn't start getting better by Wednesday he needs to go back in.

Thanks .:Shortcake:. for my GREAT siggy.
