Your computer should come with a ton of fonts already installed, but there is also a world of fun fonts out on the internet that you can add. You can find free fonts at the following sites:
Fonts For Peas | Best Handwriting Fonts
Free Scrapbook Fonts
Miss Tiina Fonts|free fonts

On most new-ish computers installing a new font is remarkably easy.
First download your font (I usually just select "Open with..." instead of "Save File" when it comes to free fonts - if you paid for it I suggest saving):

Next when the file opens double click on the item that type is labeled as True Type Font or Open Type Font. It should then open a window giving you a preview of the font.

When that preview comes up simply click the button that says "Install." A box should then pop up letting you know that the font is installing.

If you have your program running you will need to exit out of it then reopen it, the font should then show up in the list of fonts you have.
