Good idea, Erin!

I was on the pill for several years after we got married and hated it, so I had a Mirena IUD inserted in 2004. It was removed in July 2007 so we could TTC, and I figured I'd be pregnant by Christmas. After a year of no BFP I saw an OB/GYN who did a few tests, an HSG, and an SA on DH. All our tests came back normal. We did 3 natural IUIs, and they all failed.

I switched to an RE in 2009. We did more testing, DH had more specialized SAs, I had a lap...all normal. We failed the post-coital test, but my RE even said it didn't mean anything. We did 3 IUIs with Clomid and a trigger over a 6-month time period. No BFP. We decided to move ahead with IVF at my RE's suggestion, and our first fresh cycle was in Oct/Nov. 2009. We transferred two 5-day blasts and froze 5 others. It worked!

My betas were completely wonky and I was told at different times that I had a non-viable pregnancy and an ectopic, but Claire was born full-term and healthy in July 2010.

Our first frozen embryo transfer is Jan. 20, 2012.
