I can completely relate. I actually liked the way it felt to be in labor. The very last part of my natural birth, when I was pushing, when my body was pushing, was INTENSE and I truly felt that in that moment, I felt the power of God surge through me. It was divine. My epidural births were hard. They were also cervidil inductions, but they were hard. I wasn't able to get up before my epi because of my BP, and when I was lying down, it felt like someone was chopping my body in half (even after the epi was given). I never want to feel that pain again, so I will never take birth lying down unless that is what my body is intuitively telling me to do.
