Today's technique/tutorial are these adorable Halloween Treat Boxes

Here is a tutorial for this technique: Halloween Treat Buckets

Approximate time from start to finish: I'm going to say about 5 minutes to make the box, another 5/10 to decorate it.

Difficulty: I'm going to say a 1.

Suggestions: I plan to make more, and will add a ribbon over cardstock handle to make it a bucket. I would also reinforce the bottom with a thicker piece of cardstock or extra cardboard cut to 6x6 if filling with heavy candy. I'm making a set for Mark's daycare buddies. I could also see using this technique to make boxes for other holidays. Make a red box, add black strip around middle with a gold/yellow buckle for santa.

Here is the one box I've done so far using this technique. I also seen this cute Cat bucket, and I'm pretty sure I can do that design on one of these treat boxes to.

Cat design I plan to duplicate

Now it is your turn! I challenge you to give this technique a try!!

Thanks Jaidynsmum for another perfect siggy!!
