There really is no research or evidence to support cervical checks before (or during!) labor. I honestly see no need for cervical checks unless you are getting induced. But care providers have paper work to fill out so they focus on it a lot. There is an OB around here that often says "Your cervix is not a crystal ball." Love that guy.

This sounds about right, thank you. I guess I shouldn't worry so much she also told that as well and to just enjoy the pregnancy for now. I've heard of women who do tons of walking and have the baby late than there are those who barely do anything and the baby comes early so it's different for everyone. I would like the EPO to help with the tearing I heard it's great for that as the Vitamin E helps with elasticity.
