I made our baby food with both my girls. I cooked/pureed and then froze in ice cube trays then transferred the cubes to zip lock bags. Both girls started the cereal around 6 months and then their first food (sweet potatoes ect) around 6 1/2 months.

I normally heated it up in the microwave 5 second at a time or in a bag in warm water to thaw. Or I'd take out what I was going to feed them for the day the night before and left them in the fridge to thaw.
