I haven't had a c-section before, this will be my first. I'm sure it will be very unexpected and happen fast, just holding out for 36 weeks.
I'm going to pack my pump although I'm sure the hospital will have something. The baby will go straight over to the children's hospital and after 24hrs, I'll then be able to attempt to go see her. There is a walk way that connects the University hospital to the children's hospital but I don't know how far it is, unlike the hospital where I had Nattie, where the nicu is on the same floor.
I'm debating when I should go tour the l&d and nicu. My doctor reminds me every time I see him that he doesn't think she'll survive so it's like nothing else matters and he tells me nothing. I don't even know who to call in case I have problems.
