I don't know if it'll actually make enough difference for us.

We like to buy local and would prefer to 'buy canadian' when we can... but driving 1-2 hours and paying more $$$ makes it almost impossible. Unless we are staying in the states for a few days it's usually not worth it to purchase clothing because of taxes when crossing back across the border.

If they could make all products comparable in price I would be buying more in Canada.... for example lumber bought in the states with a maple leaf stamp (imported to America from BC) costs less than the same lumber in Canada... where there was no import fees etc.. explain how that's normal. This should have been addressed long ago!
