I agree - since you don't have any other symptoms, it's not a lot of blood, and your placenta looks good, I would continue with your midwife and even be as bold to say I (personally) would even opt out of the monthly u/s. To me, they only seem to cause problems, not really help anything unless there seems to be a true medical problem.

I think sometimes husband err on the side of caution because they don't like the idea of things being out of our (or their) control. It is nice that they care about us so much though, that they want to be sure everything is ok
