My doctor told me that there are 4 levels of VBAC candidates as far as rate of success. The last one is where you were- that you got the the pushing stage, level 3 which is me-- I stalled at 5 cm, DS was also sunny side up and his head was pressing against my cervical bone ( or something!) so he was cockeyed in there too. And I know one of the other 2 levels was fetal distress and I can't remember the last one.

My doc is okay with me trying for a VBAC but there are some restrictions (they don't like to induce, they don't like you to go a week past due, and you have to have internal monitoring for your scar). I would hope your doc would allow you to try for a VBAC...if all el fails another c section would be the option.

I don't have any experience with vbacs yet but I'm desperately hoping for one this time around, so I can relate to how you feel!
